By 1998, Heatherdale had firmly established its place among premier grassroots clubs. An important merger followed — Heatherdale Junior Football Club joined forces with Heathmont Junior Football Club to create the Jets Junior Football Club.

Both clubs brought unique strengths:

Heatherdale: Trusted heritage and community coaching.

Heathmont: Structure and a pathway under the EFNL umbrella.
This synergy has fostered a strong, long-term partnership, guided by shared values of player development and community spirit.

Based in Heatherdale Reserve, Purches St, Mitcham, we have players across teams from all local primary schools. This includes Rangeview, Antonio Park, Great Ryrie, Marlborough, Eastwood, Heathmont East and St James. Our older age groups have all local secondary colleges represented.

Jets Junior Football Club has the honour of being located at the newly developed Heatherdale Pavillion, opened in March 2023, a state-of-the-art facility with 2 grounds.
