The Heathmont Jets Football Netball Club is a prominent local sports club affiliated with the Eastern Football Netball League, serving Melbourne’s densely populated Eastern Suburbs. Established in 1956, the club has been a proud part of the Heathmont community for decades.
In recent years, the club has undergone significant changes. In addition to the Seniors, Reserves (Development Squad), and Colts (Under 19's) football teams, the club introduced netball teams in 2016 and women's football in 2017. The club boasts approximately 500 members, including players, coaches, committee members, and general members.
The Heathmont Jets Junior Football Club (Jets Juniors) is a merger of the Heathmont Junior Football Club and the Heatherdale Football Club, an association that began in 1998. The Jets Juniors field teams in all age groups for both boys and girls, ranging from Auskick, Under 8’s to Under 18’s.
The Jets Juniors are based at Heatherdale Reserve on Purches Street in Mitcham and also play games at H.E. Parker Reserve.
