Dean boasts an impressive football pedigree, having played many years for the Senior club at Heathmont, where he was renowned as a crafty and successful goal sneak. His time on the field included several stints in Premiership-winning Jets sides, establishing him as a key contributor to the club. Not only did Thomo juggle playing Senior football while stepping up to coach the Under 18s, but his leadership and expertise left a lasting mark on those teams. Now, he is eager to draw on every ounce of his football experience as he takes on the
challenge of coaching a new generation with our Juniors. His passion for the game and outstanding track record promise to inspire and develop his new chargers. Welcome aboard, Thomo!

He’s relentless in his commitment to helping every player grow, making the most of the development programs on offer to prepare his squad for success—both on the footy field and beyond. We’re incredibly grateful for the many roles Paul has embraced since joining the Jets in 2019. Starting out in our girls’ program with his daughters, then stepping up to guide our older boys’ teams—often when we needed a coach most—Paul’s dedication has been nothing short of impressive. He’s consistently led his teams deep into finals, only narrowly missing out last year with the U15s. Paul’s passion for teaching Aussie Rules shines through every season, inspiring his players to grow and love the game. This year, he’s once again eager to
combine his love of family and footy, taking on the challenge of coaching the U14s. With roots in Auskick and Netball, and now as our Senior Junior Coach, Paul’s ongoing commitment continues to shape and energise our club.

We're thrilled to welcome Paul back to coaching after a few years away! a full-circle moment as he steps in to a group of talented girls, many of whom began their football journey under his mentorship. With an impressive playing background, including 200 EFL games with Blackburn and a stint as Premiership player in 2002, Paul brings a wealth of experience. His coaching resume spans AusKick Netball, and Cricket, and proudly served as one of our inaugural coaches for the U10 & U12 Girls. Welcome back, Paul!
