Yes we have two run out of - Heatherdale Reserve, Heatherdale [Mitcham] - Friday Nights - HE Parker Reserve, Heathmont [will also be running a girls only clinic in conjunction with the boys] Dates for Season 2026 are May 1 to June 27 and the cost is $95.

New players Under 8 mixed team and Under 8 Girls = $100 and includes a free Jets Hoodie. First year U10 girls players also receive a free Jets Hoodie Players of all other teams = $270 [Early Bird Discount $245 if paid prior to 31 December 2025] Additional siblings of the first player are $189 per child [$171 Early Bird] Compulsory EFNL Player Registration/Insurance Fee is payable for all existing and new players - $21 There is a link on our Website www.jetsjuniors.com go to Registrations tab Registrations for 2026 open in October 1, 2025.

Games are played on Sundays throughout the season. Most Home games will be played at Heatherdale Reserve, Purches Street, Mitcham. We do play a few games at our Senior Club at HE Parker Reserve, Heathmont Road, Heathmont. The Under 8 Mixed team, will play all their games at Donvale Football Club for this first year only. The EFNL is still deciding on a venue for the Under 8 girls team.

Under 8 Mixed – play in three time slots either 9am 10am or 11am Under 9/10 Boys – 9.00am Under 10Girls/U11Boys/U12Girls -10.05am Under 12Boys/U13 Boys/U14Girls – 11.25am Under 14Boys/U15 Boys/U16 Girls – 12.55pm Under 16Boys/U17.5 Boys/U18Girls -2.45pm Game times may occasionally change due to ground availability and time clashes.

Training will be held mainly at Heatherdale Reserve, and there may be occasion for teams to also train at our Senior ground at HE Parker Reserve.

For Under 10 Boys upwards max 18 players are needed to field a team. There is a maximum of 24 players per team on game days with 8 on the bench. 14 players are needed to start an official game. For the girls teams it’s 16 players needed to field a team. The U8 Girls requiring 6 a side. Under 8’s – min 7 max 9 players. A team of 18 will ended up fielding 2 sides game days. Under 9’s – min 14 – max 18 players, they initially play 9 a field until the last couple of games of the season where they play a full side of 18.

There are no finals from Under 8 – U10’s [both boys and girls] There are no scores displayed for any of these teams. Although the Team Goal Umpires keep scores for information only. Scoring, ladders, and finals are permitted in U11, U12, U12G, U13, U14, U14G, U15, U16, U16G, U17.5, U18G.

There is no tackling in Under 8/Under 9’s there is stand up tackling in Under 10’s Tackling begins in Under 11’s in the boys’ competition and Under 12’s in the girls’ competition.

Girls playing football are at risk of injury no more than a girl playing netball or basketball. Football is a contact sport and can be a physical game which is why different age groups play with different modified rules, tailored to their different stages of development.

Girls can play in mixed teams with boys up to and including Under 14s. After this, girls must play in girls only competitions.

Once you are over 18 and can no longer play Juniors, you can start playing with Heathmont Senior Womens & Mens football. Senior Womens is an open age competition and the Senior Men’s start with an Under 19.5 team that leads onto the Development Side and then Seniors.
