Season 2025 Wrap!

What a fantastic finish to the year at the EFNL Junior Presentation Night! Of our 7 competitive teams, 5 players placed in the top 3 of their divisions, and another 5 finished in the top 10.

Congratulations to:

  • Mason Jeffery (U14) & Mackenzie Ackland (U16 Girls) – B&F Winners

  • James Gagnon (U15) – Runner-up

  • Jesse Greenhalgh (U12) & Brooke Simpson (U18 Girls) – 3rd place

Sincere appreciation must go to our coaches and their dedicated staff for guiding and supporting each player throughout the season.

Congratulations also to Eddie Warfield:

Eddie’s contribution this season has been nothing short exceptional. Wearing multiple hats—Auskick Co-ordinator, Treasurer, Vice President, and covering for Jo when she went on holiday.  His efforts were recognised with two major honours:

  • EFNL Junior Volunteer of the Year

  • Recognition at Nick McGowan’s Victorian Volunteer Awards

Season Highlights:

·        Four of our eight competitive teams reached finals this year:

·        Ash Tucker (U12A) – Guided his team to a strong finals campaign.

·        Brad Neil (U18 Girls) – Led the team to finals in a highly competitive division.

·        Max Rogers & Patrick Naismith (U14) – First-year coaches who took their team all the way to the Grand Final.

·        Chris Carrigg (U16 Girls) – Finished his coaching career with a Premiership, adding to his first-year title.

·        Players represented in EFNL Interleague, Eastern Ranges, and Vic Metro. Best of luck to Jordy Allen for the AFLW draft!
