As the season comes to a close three of our U17 boys have stepped up into the U19's to play out the season. This is a pathway for our junior boys to play senior football with the Heathmont Jets Senior Netball & Football club.
The first player, Jed Hansen, has already played 11 games with the U19's.
Bodhan McAuliffe has now played 6 games. Bodhan is top age U17’s and now using as a lead into playing U19’s at the Senior Club next year.
The last of the three is Jack Davidson, who has played 4 games this season.
Jed and Jack are both bottom age U17, and really enjoying the integration playing at a higher age level.
The U19’s play next weekend, Saturday 24 August vs Scoresby at HE Parker Parker Reserve @ 10.00am. Entry is free for U19 games.
Be great to see as many of our Junior players/parents come and support our boys and especially on 24/8 stay and watch our seniors fight for a spot in the finals.
