Expressions of interest for the 2023 committee now open!
The 2022/2023 Jets annual general meeting will be held at HE Parker Reserve on Friday 2nd September at 7.00pm. We invite all parents of current players to attend this event. All positions will be declared vacant and a new committee will be voted in.
The committee is a group of parent volunteers who help in the running and administration of the junior football club. We encourage all of you at some stage of your association with the Jets to get involved and 'give something back'. In 2023 we would love again to see representation from all age groups in our committee as it gives your team a say in the direction and future planning of the club.
The committee structure is built around 6 sub-committees with multiple people contributing to each function. This is designed to spread the tasks across a wider group of people.
The sub committees will cover areas such as -
Finance - Banking, grants, sponsorships, financial reporting
Property - Equipment, jumpers, merchandise, facilities, ground scheduling
Events - Social nights, family nights, raffles, finals hosting, and fundraising for the club
Compliance - EFNL liaison, player registration, transfers, COVID-19, coach/club accreditations, team communications, club database
Football Operations - Coaching, training, team grading, auskick coordination
Marketing - Website, social media
