After a gap year with the construction of the new pavilion, NAB AFL Auskick returns to Heatherdale and HE Parker Reserve on 29 April 2023 and promises to be better than ever.
NAB AFL Auskick is the best way to introduce kids to the great game of Aussie Rules Football! It’s all about fun, getting hands on the ball and constantly being involved in exciting activities.
No AFL experience? No worries! Auskick offers an inclusive environment for everyone aged 5 – 12 at any skill level to play.
Why join the new Heatherdale Auskick Centre?
We have the best and newest facilities in the Eastern Suburbs with our new $5.1 million pavilion opened in March 2023.
Heatherdale Reserve is centrally located with residents living in Mitcham, Vermont, Ringwood, and Heathmont only 5 minutes away.
All Auskick families will receive an invite to Jets Juniors Football Club functions at Heatherdale Pavilion.
All participants receive a new footy, pump, footy cards, plush footy and a drawstring bag from your chosen AFL club. You can also choose from a training shirt, bag, or socks!
All Community Auskickers get an Auskick Junior Club Membership for the AFL club of their choice - including access to attend AFL matches!
Auskickers get the chance to play half-time at the AFL and AFLW elite matches!
Who runs the Auskick program? The Jets Juniors Football Club helps support two Auskick facilities. All our Auskick sessions are run by parents and volunteers. The NAB AFL Auskick program provides training materials and support for the clubs. The kids love seeing their parents help run the training drills and games. It gives parents a great introduction into junior football and being part of their children's development.
How can I get involved?
If you would like to assist in the running of the Auskick centres please contact president@jetsjuniors.com. It's a great education and pathway to junior coaching positions.
Where are the Jets Auskick centres located?
The Jets support two Auskick centres out of Heatherdale Reserve in Mitcham and HE Parker Reserve in Heathmont.
