Paul Telford - Coach.
So pleased with how we finished the season off. A solid 4 quarters of footy, with the girls making the most of their last game for the year.
The match was a great example of how much the girls have improved over the last few months. We had 12 individual goal kickers for the 14 goals we kicked. The team has become so even in the last few weeks, it has been difficult to nominate award winners! A champagne problem from a coaches perspective ...
The link up play via handball has been exceptional. The willingness to share the ball has been great to see. Marking has improved dramatically.
I hope each of the girls continues their footy next season, as all 21 of them have something to offer a team next year.
A public & huge thank you to my support team - Kate (Assistant Coach), Tara (Trainer), Curtis & Michelle (Team Managers). Fantastic people, & a pleasure to work with.
Finally, I would just like to say how much I enjoyed coaching this group of girls this year. I feel like I’ve made 21 new little mates. I’m going to miss them.
