Round 7 Match Report - Jets U10 Girls vs Ringwood

Paul Telford - Coach

Well what a way to head into the bye & cap-off the first half of the season. Based on what we saw on the weekend, it’s going to be a very exciting 2nd half of the season coming up.

12 individual goal kickers just about sums up the day. We had 4 girls kick their first goal of the season. It was terrific to see a few of the older, more experienced girls share the ball around in the forward line.

The ball handling all game was superb. A lot cleaner than in previous weeks. Something that we have been working hard on at training – trapping & picking-up ground balls.

The most pleasing part of the day was to see a few girls who are relatively new to football get their hands on the ball a lot more than what they normally do. Really impressive improvement.
